Community Access & Participation
We at Infinity Support Services, help you with full and effective participation in community on an equal basis with others. We strongly believe that community participation helps realise the potential for physical, social, emotional and intellectual development.
We can provide support whenever you are required to leave your home for:
- Community events
- Hobbies
- Cultural events
- Appointments
- Your support programs like swimming, gym, sports club
- Shopping
- Community centre
- Eating out
These supports enable each participant to engage in community, social or recreational activities. These may be provided in a centre or in community settings at standard or higher intensity rates.
Part of Community Access Participation is Travel and Transport. Our Transport service aims to enable the participants to access disability supports outside their home, and to pay for transport that helps them to achieve the goals in their plan. Transport funding is paid fortnightly in advance to self-managed participants. Funding transport assistance is limited to those who cannot use public transport due to their disability.
Infinity Support Services has a range of activities and programs aimed to assist participants in leading a full and happy life. Social inclusion and interaction programs are specially designed to meet every individual’s need and to assist them in finding their “special place” in life, where they feel valued and comfortable within their surroundings.
